My own people have been slowly dying for many years. Once we had a great empire spanning the fey realms, with a reach that touched many planes. However that was lost long ago, and what remains are a wide scattering of city states, in theory each subservient to the Court of Stars, dreaming of the age of golden light. Every decade, a few of the glittering jewels of our past glory fade to darkness, reclaimed by the wilds. From my knowledge the cataclysm had less of an impact on my homeland than in many places, the land itself seemed to act against the corruption. The planar weakening has had a more profound effect. With unintentional crossings being more common I feel that my people and their allies will soon be forced to take a more active role in their own survival.
